Hello and welcome to my website! I’m Natasha Romanoff, a global traveller, published writer, and World Surf League QS surfer. My site is about my travels, writings and surfing competitions. What is it that I do? What makes me want to get out of bed early every morning while the rest of the world is sleeping? Well; I’m a freelance writer and my work can be seen in the fall 2015 issue of Women’s Surf Style Magazine where my interviews with Sally Fitzgibbons, and Tanika Hoffman are featured. I also covered the 2015 Roxy Pro France competition and in 2016 I did an interview with New Zealand’s Paige Hareb, which is posted on the writings page of my website.
I love doing all kinds of outdoor activities. In addition to being a WSL full competition member I’m also a PADI Master Diver who’s had the good fortune of diving some of the greatest locations in the world. I’m not sponsored by anyone so one of my biggest goals is to become a brand ambassador for a global company like Roxy who sells surf accessories and lifestyle clothing; I’ve posted links to the brands I prefer to use here on my homepage. My next major goal is to interview each of the ladies on the WSL Championship Tour and continue to promote women’s surfing around the world.
I’ve spent my entire life running around the globe but with only 25 countries in my passport I still have much of the world left to see. This year I’m living on an island in the Bahamas with my wife and working my Monday to Friday job while planning our next adventure. Last year I was living in New Zealand and making trips to Cape Town to visit my wife who’s South African and just completed achieving her PADI Dive Master’s certification.
So join me in my adventures as I continue to travel the world, surf new places and write about the competitions, the surfers competing on the world tour, and the places I visit in my travels around this amazing planet.
